LA GRANDE, Ore. (EOU) - Thinking about heading back to school? Find out how to start or complete a college degree at one of Eastern Oregon University's free Back to School Night presentations beginning Tuesday, Jan. 13.
Information will be available on financial aid, scholarships, admissions process and student support services. Current EOU students and recent graduates will also share their first-hand experiences.
"The main focus will be sharing information on the opportunities available to non-traditional age students interested in attending EOU," said Sharon Nelson, director of EOU's Union County Regional Center. "Flexible and accelerated options that can be customized to fit individual needs are critical, especially during challenging economic times."
Evening sessions will be held in La Grande on Tuesday, in Elgin on Wednesday, Jan. 14, and in Union on Wednesday, Jan. 21. Presentations begin at 6:30 p.m.
EOU will also have a presence at the Community Resources in Action event sponsored by the Region 13 WorkSource Oregon Board Jan. 13 from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. at the Blue Mountain Conference Center.
