Faculty:    By submitting an email to Kris Olson (see student instructions below) as a faculty sponsor, you are indicating confirmation that this project is a substantial independent effort, demonstrating research and creativity beyond classroom experience, and that this work, when completed, is likely to merit University-wide recognition. 

Please ensure that only ONE abstracted is submitted per presentation.

Student:    Submit your contact information (you must use your eou.edu email address), preferred presentation format and one-page (200 word) abstract using this on-line submittal page.  In addition have your faculty advisor email Kris Olson (kolson@eou.edu) to confirm that they have read and approved your abstract for submittal.

PRESENTATION SCHEDULE:  STUDENTS THAT HAVE PROJECTS ACCEPTED FOR PRESENTATION AT THE 2008 SPRING SYMPOSIUM MUST BE AVAILABLE TO PRESENT AT ANY TIME DURING THE DAY OF THE SYMPOSIUM.

Poster Presentation: Student will prepare description of prject with text, graphics, etc. Students will be expected to present their posters at a designated time. Performance Art: Student will perform the project before an audience.
Estimated Time Needed:
Talk:Student will present project as a brief 15-minute talk with within a series of student talks. Artistic Display: Display of creative work. Materials may be displayed all day; artists will be expected to be present at their display for a designated time.
Panel Presentation: Students will present findings in the form of a panel with audience participation. Each panel participant should submit a form with a shared project title. Other: Examples include experiments, group-related presentations, etc.
