Blackboard Course Copy Request Form

We won't be copying over courses en masse from the old Blackboard server to the new Enterprise edition Blackboard. This is to avoid filling the new server with data that may not be needed and to avoid duplicating any file corruption. We will, on request, copy materials from specific courses on the old server to their counterparts for the upcoming term on the new server. Although instructors can copy materials from one server to the other using export/import, we ask that you let us do it through Fall term. This is because it must be done in a controlled manner to prevent overloading the old server with the temporary files that get created when exporting or archiving courses. Once more space is freed on the old server, faculty will be encouraged to copy the materials themselves.

Use the form below to request that materials be copied from a course on the old server to the new server. To make sure we get the courses you need, please use the course ID (such as 31927-F05), rather than just a general description (such as MM 252). You can find this course ID near the top of the Control Panel of the course.
